This is simple: Do you like puzzles? If you do, go for it. I friend of mine got it and he says it’s awesome. As soon as I get my credit card, that’s gonna be my first purchase.
I need some info guise
For those who have played Kid Icarus uprising, can you set me straight on something? I’ve heard that it has difficult controls and that it requires a stand or something? I dunno can someone tell me what that’s all about?
It’s a bit difficult… at first. And it’s not that it’s impossible, it’s just that we are so accustomed to certain type of controls, and we struggle with the idea of something different. Not, bad, just different. And sadly, that’s keeping a lot of people form playing this awesome game.
I want to be of help here, so, here it goes: The main controls are: You move pit with the circle pad, shoot with L button and move the camera and the sight with the stylus. The last one is the “thing” that a lot complain about, but is just as if you were using a mouse on a PC. Really, once you get us to it, it’s even better than using two circle pads.
In my case, I changed the shooting to the R button. Surprisingly, I found very confortable shooting with my right pinky, and use my left index to give better suport with the whole left hand to my 3DS.
Until today, I haven’t used the stand and I play very well. So, the stand is really a plus, in case you need a better grip.
Don’t let those comments from all that people who haven’t given a chance to the game for more than 5 minutes decide for you. Give it a try. There’s a lot of control customisation options and you can change avery single button action. And there’s the free stand for support. Won’t be disappointed.
